While we have packages for hire that we hope will cater to your needs, we also have individual items that you might wish to add to your booking. Some of these can be found in the gallery. Please ask if you have an idea, as we are adding to our stock constantly.
We are located in Sydney, operating from Sylvania and Hunter's Hill. We also service the Illawarra region from Barrack Heights. Delivery and pick-up is free 25km from these points. Prices for further distances can be negotiated.
Booking Your Event
Booking is confirmed on receipt of $50 non refundable deposit. Final numbers are confirmed five (5) working days prior to the event and balance of payment is due three ( 3) working days prior to the event. A $150 refundable damage deposit is required and payable with the final payment. This will be returned within three days of the return of the package by the same method payment was made.
Delivery
Delivery and set-up is either on the morning of your high tea/event or the day before (to ensure that setup is to your satisfaction and everything is ready for you to enjoy your function.)
Clear-away and collection will be at the conclusion of your event or the following day (exact timing will be discussed a little closer to the date of your event) . The chance of breakage or damage is minimal, as we pack, deliver, dress your table/s and clear and wash at the end of the event. If you wish to rinse the china, could we ask you please not to use a dishwasher. Almost all of our stock is vintage and is not suitable for a modern machine. Accidents can happen unfortunately and we will try to keep replacement costs at a minimum, so therefore damaged items will be charged at a flat rate of $35 each except for teapots, cake stands and crystal jugs at replacement costs.
All goods from Di For Tea Hire remain the property of Di For Tea. We will not be responsible for any damage to any persons while you have our stock in your care.
All our tea sets and glasses are subject to availability. We aim to serve you well and accommodate your wishes as far as practical. We hope you hear from you soon, so we can together plan an event that will be pleasing and exciting.
